"Fire laser from phone" is an extra test. The first tap should switch the beam on and the second should take the reading. It may not work on every model.
How to test
- Turn the laser on and switch on its Bluetooth (the Bluetooth symbol shows on its screen).
- Close MeasureOn on every phone nearby. The laser only talks to one app at a time.
- Tap Connect to laser and pick it from the list.
- Press the measure button on the laser. The reading should appear here.
- Check 3 or 4 readings match the laser's own screen, then tap Share report.
